Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. Professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using lowercase letters, such like AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews by music journalists and media. The artist has already recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry announced her new song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an instrument in her attic and being awed by the sounds it would make. Jan Oystein Aksnes was her father. He urged her not to do music just to have fun or to aid in growth but rather, she must take it seriously. The singer began to write her own songs. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her favorite composers. To counter her mother's suggestion that people ought not to aim to become famous with her songwriting, but instead recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. Her mother suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their importance and the ways they can affect the world. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora never dreamed of becoming a star. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. She believes that music is the only way to feel anything.
